Hezekiah’s Fig Balm Inspired by 2 Kings 20:7 – “Take a cake of figs... and he recovered.”

There is a beautiful account in Scripture where god used something simple from his creation as part of Hezekiah recovery. When King Hezekiah was seriously ill, the prophet Isaiah instructed that a lump, or poultice, of figs to be prepared and applied to his boil. Scripture tells us that the figs were placed upon the infected wound and he recovered.

At God's Medicine, Hezekiah fig salve was inspired by this biblical account and the ancient tradition of using figs in topical preparations. Its our way of honoring the wisdom found throughout Scriptures and the gift that have been valued for generations.

This is Handcrafted salve is made with intention of, drawing inspiration from the fig poultice of Hezekiah's day while creating a convenient preparation for todays personal care.

Directions: Apply on clean, dry skin. Avoid open wounds for external use only. Apply 1 to 2 times daily or as needed with a gentle massage.
